Lenox Girls Tie Holyoke Catholic

LENOX, Mass. -- The Lenox girls soccer team tied with Holyoke Catholic Monday afternoon, 1-1, in a rematch from last year's Western Massachusetts Division 4 tournament.

 

Lenox opened the scoring in the 31st minute of the game; Jaclynn Hathaway found the feet of Nicole Gamerberoni to put the Millionaires ahead, 1-0.

 

Five minutes later Holyoke Catholic netted the equalizer leaving the score 1-1 at halftime; where it remained throughout the rest of the game.

 

Lenox goalie Shannon Meisberger had eight saves in net.

 

Last fall, Lenox beat Holyoke Catholic, 2-1, in overtime to advance to the Western Mass quarter-finals.

 

Next up for the Millionaires this fall is a date against Drury on Wednesday.
