Monument Girls Edge Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Monument Mountain's Allison Kinne lead the Spartans to a 1-0 victory over Pittsfield Thursday afternoon.

 

Kinne netted her goal in the first half off a pass from Halle Hasset.

 

The Generals were unable to put in the equalizer, dropping their record to 12-5. With the Pittsfield loss, the Wahconah girls won the Northern Berkshire County Title.

 

In goal for Monument, Emily Shaw had 16 saves. Allie Hunt had 9 for the Generals.

 

Pittsfield plays Friday evening at BCC against East Longmeadow; scheduled for 5 p.m. Monument (10-6) travels to Lee for a 4 p.m. start.
