Hoosac Valley Girls Get Offense in Gear Against Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Mallory Mazzeo scored two goals Tuesday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls soccer team to a 6-0 win over Taconic.

 

Sydni Jamross and Samantha Loholdt each had a goal and an assist, and Ashlyn Lesure and Lilly Boudreau each scored a goal.

 

"The girls did a nice job of moving the ball today," Hoosac Valley coach Kathy Budaj said. "They were more patient and looking for the open player."

 

Emily Godfrey and Lilly Speed each recorded a save to combine on the shutout in goal.

 

Hoosac Valley (2-4) goes to Lee on Wednesday.

 

Taconic (0-3) hosts Mount Greylock at Berkshire Community College on Wednesday.
