Lee, Drury Girls Play to a Draw

LEE, Mass. -- Lena Simone scored twice and Halle Miller made 11 saves as the Lee girls soccer team earned a 2-2 tie against Drury on Monday.

 

The Wildcats scored the only goal of the second half after going into the break down 2-1 thanks to two goals by Drury’s Kayla McGrath.

 

“Halle Miller had an incredible game, including making a save off a penalty kick in the first half,” Lee coach Lauren Finnegan said.

 

Mackenzie Dobbert stopped eight shots for Drury (5-9-1), which hosts Taconic on Wednesday.

 

Lee (4-8-1) hosts Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.
