Greene's Goal Lifts Hoosac Valley Boys Soccer to First Win

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Hoosac Valley senior captain Braidee Greene scored in the second minute of the game and the Hurricanes hung on for a 1-0 win over Taconic on Friday afternoon.

 

Freshman Jake Richardson set up the game-winning goal for Hoosac Valley, which got seven saves from eighth-grader Brodie Lanoue in his first varsity start.

 

Colby Sherman made 14 saves for Taconic (0-6), which goes to Mount Everett on Tuesday.

 

Hoosac Valley (1-3) hosts Drury on Tuesday.
