Dan was one of the first people I met at Leesburg Bikefest in 2016. He was such a sweetheart! Even helped me with my hair by getting me a headcover! I was new to riding and he helped me over newby passenger jitters. I toast you, Dan, with the finest of wines! Will miss your smile and humor in the future! I know you are smiling down on the family you loved so much. I send prayers of strength and love for the coming days.

My sincere condolences to Dan’s family. Dan was always a wonderful friend, a perfect gentleman and great confidant. When ever I was visiting from Norway he made sure I could enjoy the music scene in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. Always ready to be our “Dan Everywhere”, we always had a laugh about that. I know we are many Who will miss his smile and great sense of humor! Forever in my heart, RIP Dan??

Sheri, Katie Bob and all Dan's loving family - Deep condolences for the sudden loss of a good man and a great friend. It has been my joy and privilege to enjoy Dan's friendship from Drury and Dutch Hill to his last days. I was never more proud as when I joined him at Ski America when he described me to the comoany owner as "being cut from similar cloth" as him. We shared many, many adventures in life and business (and lunch at Joe's Diner) and Dan's caring and integrity was always at the center of his actions. I am so deeply sad to say, Sail on, Dan McKay.
