Lloyd Leads McCann Tech Past Putnam Voc

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Jordan Lloyd scored two goals and set up a pair of goals Monday to lead the McCann Tech girls soccer team to a 5-1 win over Putnam Vocational.

 

Ryleigh Rathbun, Shaylee Lawson and Lazuri Levesque each scored a goal, and Lily Speed had an assist in the win.

 

“Our team showed up ready to play and we had good minutes from everyone,” McCann Tech coach Lindsay Lincoln said. “Jordan Lloyd controlled the offense and Elizabeth Therrien was strong on the defensive end.”

 

Sophia Francesconi made six saves in net for the Hornets (1-1), who go to Springfield Commerce on Wednesday.
