Tammy J. Perreault, 63

ADAMS, Mass. — Tammy Perreault, formerly of Adams, died tragically on Aug. 10, 2022, on Surfside Beach, South Carolina.

Tammy was born in Adams on May 14, 1959, to Robert and Jane (Kolis) Gilman. She graduated from Hoosac Valley High School in 1977, and from Berkshire Community College. She spent her younger years in Massachusetts.

Tammy eventually moved to New York State where she worked in the insurance industry. There she met her loving husband, Mike Perreault. Together they had a wonderful, loving union for 25 years. Upon moving to South Carolina in 2010, Tammy became involved in many charitable fund-raising events. She was always there to lend a helping hand to a friend and was loved by all. Many days she and Mike could be seen driving their golf cart around town.

Tammy is survived by her husband Mike and her mother, Jane Gilman, her loving brother Bob Gilman and his wife, Irene, and her brother Allen Gilman, all of Adams. Tammy is also survived by her special nieces and nephews, including Cory Gilman (Hillary) Kim Gilman (Scott McCormick) and Chad Gilman, along with her great nieces and nephews Addison, Paisley, Maverick, Miley, and Taylor. She was predeceased by her father, Robert Gilman, Sr. in 1989.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service will be held on Friday, Aug. 19, at 2 p.m. in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Orchard Street, (Route 116) in Adams. There will be a celebration of Tammy's life in South Carolina at a later date to be announced.
