Helene T. Coope, 88

ADAMS, Mass. —

Mrs. Helene Theresa (Lepine) Coope, 88, of Adams, died on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Berkshire Medical Center in North Adams.

She was born in Adams on October 26, 1933, daughter of the late John and Corrine (Guerin) Lepine. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School.

Mrs. Coope last worked in the office of the former VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire, North Adams, until her retirement. Earlier she had worked for the former CompCare, Inc., the Adams Rest Home and Sprague Electric Company.

She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II, Adams.

Her husband, Edmond F. Coope, whom she married on June 9, 1951, died on October 31, 1996.

She is survived by her daughter Ann Clairmont and her husband Rodney of Lyman, SC; her brother Bernard Lepine and his wife Judy of Troy, NH; five grandchildren, Carrie Ann Crews, Harold Crews III, Mark Clairmont and his wife Tina, Scott Clairmont and his wife Kelley and James Clairmont; five great grandchildren, Michaelenne, Tara, Jake, Jared and Ashley and by her special caregiver Ms. Paula Liuzzi.

She was predeceased by her daughter Barbara Crews.

The funeral will be held on Friday, August 19th at 11:00 A.M. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams.

Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.

There are no calling hours.
