Charmaine LaPier, 67

 

Charmaine D. LaPier 67, of Hancock died Saturday May 28, 2022. She was born in North Adams on June 14, 1954 a daughter of the late Harvey and Thelma (Moon) LaPier. She attended schools in Hancock and New Lebanon. Charmaine was employed at Sweetbrook Health Care Center. She was a member of the Second Congregational Church of South Williamstown and enjoyed bowling.

Survivors include her sisters, Eunice LaPier of Hancock and Agnes Hoffman (James) of Stephentown, NY. and four aunts Luella Hoffman, Gloria Sprague, Connie McKenzie and Kathy Langnickel. She was predeceased brother Leroy and Debbie LaPier.

Funeral Services will take place on Thursday June 2, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Hancock Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 9a.m to 11 a.m. Memorial donations are suggested for the Hancock Volunteer Fire Department through the funeral home.

Eunice & Agnes, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your sister, and my cousin Charmaine. I fondly remember going to Hancock for Sunday family picnics, and Charmaine was always a big part of those get-togethers. I hope you can take comfort in knowing Charmaine is back with family members we have lost over the years.
