The Boys & Girls Club of the Berkshires is excited to introduce a new Basketball Skills Clinic, a free program for Club members aimed at helping young athletes sharpen their basketball fundamentals in a fun and focused environment.

Participants will receive instruction from two of the area's most respected high school coaches:
Coach Bill Heaphy, Head Coach of Taconic Thunder at Taconic High School, will lead the boys sessions.
Coach Kristy Conyers, Head Coach of the Lady Generals at Pittsfield High School, will lead the girls sessions.

The clinic is designed to help players at all levels enhance key basketball fundamentals including shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding, and defensive skills. Whether athletes are just starting out or looking to elevate their game, the program offers valuable instruction in a supportive, team-based setting.

Images Cinema will host a fundraising event, "Remembering Christopher Reeve," to support their Look Forward Capital Campaign, featuring a screening of the documentary Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story and special guest James Naughton. A VIP reception with James Naughton will precede the screening, and general admission and VIP tickets are available for purchase. As part of their Look Forward Capital Campaign, Images Cinema announces their next fundraising event: Remembering Christopher Reeve. The event will feature a VIP reception at 6pm in the Images Lounge with special guest James Naughton and other community members, followed by a new documentary about Reeve, Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story, and conversation in the theater. 

“Through the Look Forward campaign, we seek to continue Christopher Reeve’s legacy,” said Dan Hudson, Executive Director. “Not only do people have a chance to have a seat plate, like Christopher did in our 1989 campaign, but our renovation will provide an even greater level of accessibility throughout the entire theater.”

Tickets are $75 per person for general admission and $125 for VIP tickets (which includes the reception). Due to space restrictions, VIP tickets are limited.
