Superior Court Briefs: Aug. 27.
Cases heard before judge John Agostini on Wednesday, August 27.
Michael Tarpeh, 24, of Stafford, Va. was sentenced to concurrent fie to six years at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction on two counts of larceny of a motor vehicle and a single count of carjacking.
Tarpeh pleaded guilty to those charges and a single count of assault and battery causing serious personal injury on July 9. He was given concurent time on the assault charge.
He will begin serving the sentence when he completes a current sentence he is serving in West Virginia. The charges stem from an incident at the east-bound travel plaza on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Lee on February 22, 2013.
