Superior Court Briefs: March 2 - March 5
Cases heard before Judge John Agostini on Monday, March 2.
Shane Hamilton, 25, of Dalton pleaded guilty to single counts of armed robbery, armed assault with intent to rob a victim over the age of 60 and assault by means of a dangerous weapon.
He was ordered to serve three to five years at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction. Hamilton robbed an elderly couple in the Price Chopper parking lot on March 12, 2014 in Pittsfield.
Cases heard before Judge John Agostini on Wednesday, March 4.
William Kearin Jr., 29, of Pittsfield pleaded guilty to single counts of possession of heroin and possession of a stun gun.
He was ordered to serve concurrent one-year sentences at the Berkshire County House of Correction. The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at his Hungerford Street home on April 29, 2014. A single count of conspiracy to violate drug laws was dismissed by the state.

Damarcus Swazy, 19, of Pittsfield pleaded guilty to single counts of armed robbery and assault by means of a dangerous weapon.
He was ordered to serve three and a half to five years at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction and pay restitution of $180. Swazy held up a cab driver in Pittsfield on February 16, 2014.
