Superior Court Briefs: November 12 - November 14
Cases heard before Judge John Agostini on Tuesday, November 12.
Bayshawn Irvis, 24, of Pittsfield pleaded guilty to single counts of illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of a loaded firearm and violation of a firearm surrender order.
The charges are in connection with an incident in Pittsfield on February 10, 2013. He was ordered to serve concurrent two year sentences at the Berkshire County House of Correction on the illegal possession of a firearm and the violation of a firearm surrender order. He was placed on two years probation on the illegal possession of a loaded firearm charge.
Lance Latimer, 34, of North Adams pleaded guilty to two counts of receiving stolen property over $250.
His case was continued without a finding for one year. Latimer was in possession of stolen property in North Adams between February 24, 2012 and March 9, 2012.
Two counts of breaking and entering in the nighttime and a single count of larceny over $250 were dismissed by the state.
Cases heard before Judge John Agostini on Wednesday, November 13.
Kevin Heideman, 31, of North Adams was found guilty of a single count of disturbing the peace.
The charge was in connection with an incident in North Adams on December 2, 2011. Heideman was ordered to pay a $150 fine.
The jury found him not guilty of single counts of rape, assault and battery, malicious destruction of personal property and intimidation of a witness in connection with the same incident.

John Jones, 37, of Ashley Falls pleaded guilty to single counts of larceny - an ongoing and continuing offense - and making false entries into corporate books.
He was ordered to serve two years at the Berkshire County House of Correction on the larceny charge and a concurrent one year sentence on the other.
While employed at Kenver Limited in Egremont, Jones took approximately $65,000 between November 1, 2010 and February 11, 2012.
