The Consulting Alliance will hold a lunch meeting on Friday, July 8, from 11:30 to 2 at Wolferts Roost Country Club, 120 Van Rensselaer Blvd., Menands, N.Y. The meeting program "Speed Networking for New Connections" features Peter Coombs, principal of FRONTLINE Training. Coombs will lead a speed-networking exercise during which participants will meet and present themselves to one another in order to expand business connections.

The Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce is holding a Business After Hours event on Thursday, July 14, at Great Barrington Bagel Co., 777 S. Main St., Great Barrington, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. RSVP to sbcc@rnetworx.com or 413-528-1510.

Berkshire Young Professionals will have its next networking social at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, 1000 Main St. (Route 2), Williamstown, on Thursday, July 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. Admission is free for BYP cardholders and $5 for others. Register here.

On Wednesday, July 20, the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce will hold a "Chamber Nite" event, sponsored by The Pittsfield Cooperative Bank, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the newly opened Balance Rock Investment Group, 92 Elm St., Pittsfield. Complimentary hors d'oevres will be served. Bring business cards to enter into the door prize drawing. Registration is open to members only; register here.

The Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce will hold a breakfast on Friday, June 3, from 7:45 to 9:15 a.m. at the Comfort Inn, Stockbridge Road. The meeting will celebrate Great Barrington's 250th anniversary; special guests include Great Barrington Board of Selectmen and 250th Committee Co-chairs Ed McCormick and Betsy Andrus, state Sen. Berkshire Young Professionals will throw a networking social on Thursday, June 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hancock Shaker Village, Route 20, Pittsfield. Admission is $5 for nonmembers, free for members. Register here.

The Lenox Chamber of Commerce will hold an after hours mixer on Thursday, June 9, at Dr. Lahey's Garden Center, 1032 South St., Pittsfield. The event begins at 6 p.m. and includes light seasonal fare and a cash bar. RSVP to 413-637-3646 or info@lenox.org.

The Zonta Club of Berkshire County will meet on Monday, June 13 at 5 p.m. at Patrick's Pub, Park Square, Pittsfield. The meeting will include the installation of new officers; the guest speaker will be this year's winner of the Berkshire Community College Scholarship. The Berkshire Chamber of Commerce will hold a Chamber Nite event on Wednesday, June 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Devanny-Condron Funeral Home, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield. The Berkshire Chamber of Commerce puts on a Good News Business Salute on Wednesday, June 22, from 7:45 to 9 a.m. at the Berkshire Hills Country Club, 500 Benedict Road, Pittsfield. Admission is $25 for chamber members, $35 for nonmembers. Registration is open until June 21; register here.

Northern Berkshire Professional Women will meet at the Williams Inn, Williamstown, on Wednesday, June 22, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will have a baby shower theme; items brought to the meeting will be donated to a local charity. The Lenox Chamber of Commerce and Interim Health Care will host the Member to Member Business Forum "The Continuum of Long Term Care" on Wednesday, May 4, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lenox Town Hall. The Zonta Club of Berkshire County, which works to advance the status of women, will meet on Monday, May 9, at 5 p.m. at Patrick's Pub, Park Square, Pittsfield. The guest speakers will be Ann Pasko from the Pittsfield Garden Tour and Megan Monteleone, winner of this year's Young Women in Public Affairs Award. The meeting includes a brief networking time, business meeting, speeches and dinner. The Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce will have its next Business After Hours event on Thursday, May 12, at Geer Village, Route 7, Canaan, Conn., from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Geer Village is a retirement community that provides living arrangements for independent seniors, those who require some assistance, and for those with memory impairments. The Williamstown Chamber of Commerce will hold a networking social at Wild Oats, Main Street, Williamstown, on Thursday, May 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. The event is open to all Williamstown Chamber members, their employees and guests. It will feature samples of local craft beers, wines, hors d’oeuvres, local handmade cheeses and locally made ice cream. Overflow parking will be in the Hoosac Bank Parking lot. Berkshire Young Professionals will have an 18-hole golf tournament on Sunday, May 22, from 1 to 7 p.m. at Wahconah Country Club, Dalton. Teams of four are encouraged; if you don't have a team of four, but still want to play, you will be matched with others to create a team.  Space is limited; admission is $60 per person for BYP membership cardholders or $75 without the card. The group Northern Berkshire Business and Professional Women will meet on Wednesday, May 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the Williams Inn, Main Street, (Route 2) Williamstown. Registration is due March 1 for the free half-day workshop "Why and How to Apply Lean Thinking to Your Business," to be held Tuesday, March 8, from 8 a.m. to noon at Intermodal Education Center, 1 Columbus Ave., Pittsfield. The workshop, sponsored by the Greater Boston Manufacturing Partnership and Berkshire Community College, is open to CEOs and "change agents" working in any industry. The Lenox Chamber of Commerce will hold a general membership meeting on Thursday, March 10, at 6 p.m. at the Lenox Town Hall. The guest speaker will be Michael F. Gaetano of Tanglewood British Motorcar Festival. Details, participation information and more about the upcoming festival, scheduled for June 17-19, will be discussed. Other items to be discussed include a possible by-law change to allow outside businesses to become chamber members, events for the fall and holiday seasons, and new membership rewards and benefits.
