RICHMOND, Mass. — Berkshire HorseWorks Inc., 101-103 Patton Road, is holding its annual tag sale on Saturday from 9 to 3 to benefit programs for at-risk youth.
Items include horse gear, designer clothes, mens wear, Ski gear, antiques, crystal and fine china, exercise equipment, furniture, Harley-Davidson leather jackets and chaps, rugs, kitchen stuff, belts, jewelry, lamps, European fabrics, books, massage table, artwork, file cabinets, Hermes plates, pet supplies, shoes, pine armoire, purses and wallets.
Pet a donkey and receive 10 percent off any Berkshire HorseWorks activity booked before Labor Day, with any purchases. Refreshments available. No early birds.
Berkshire HorseWorks has recently expanded into the educational space, with the introduction of Horse Powered Reading and Math curriculums. All experiential programming for children, families, and those at risk with mental health, behavioral, and academic challenges is funded through grants, donations, and direct pay from corporate team building and recreational activities including trail rides lessons.
The 501(c)3 nonprofit has for 10 years offered Eagala model equine assisted psychotherapy, equine assisted learning, equine assisted team building, and other therapeutic and recreational activities with horses.
Tickets are on sale now for the 10th anniversary gala "Rescues on the Runway: A Walk Of Resiliency" on Sept. 20.
