Lambros Powers SteepleCats in Road Win

SANFORD, Maine -- Elijah Lambros went 3-for-4 with a pair of home runs and a double Wednesday to lead the North Adams SteepleCats to a 9-5 win over the Sanford Mainers.
 
Taconic High graduate Nick Guachione doubled and David McCann hit a game-winning grand slam in the top of the ninth for the SteepleCats.
 
Joseph Sabbath earned the win on the mound with two innings of one-run relief.
 
North Adams (7-9) is home on Thursday against Keene, N.H.

NAPS Destroying Special Education Records

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — North Adams Public Schools will be destroying special education records of students who withdrew, graduated, transferred or were released from special education services during the 2016-2017 school year.

Records will be destroyed after July 31, 2024. Students or Parents interested in retrieving the records should call Student Support Services at 413-776-1670, options 3, 4 or 5 no later than July 31, 2024.

Two days advanced notice for pickup of records is appreciated.
