SHEFFIELD, Mass. — Breaking Trad will perform and host a workshop at Dewey Hall on March 8.
 
The workshop will be held from 6 to 7:15 pm. The concert will be held from 8 to 9:30 pm.

According to a press release:
 
Breaking Trad is made up of Dónal Murphy (Accordion), from Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, a winner of numerous All-Ireland titles on both Button Accordion and Melodeon, David Doocey (Fiddle) from Foxford, Co Mayo, a winner of multiple awards including the All-Ireland Senior Fiddle competition and the coveted Fiddler of Oriel trophy and also Mike Galvin (Guitar/Vocals) who has vast experience working in a wide range of musical styles from Rock and Roll to Irish Traditional. 
 
The workshop includes:

MassDot Advisory: South County Construction Operations

STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that crews will be conducting nighttime paving, guardrail work, and bridge repair operations at various locations and times on I-90 eastbound and westbound during the week of Sunday, July 28, through Saturday, August 3.
 
Lane closures will be in place during the construction operations, and traffic will be able to travel through the work zones. The schedule for the work and lane closures is as follows:
 
Montgomery/Russell
  • Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 35.5 to 36.5 from Sunday night, July 28, through Friday night, August 2, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 3.
  • Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 35.5 to 36.5 on Thursday night, August 1, through Friday night, August 2, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 3.
 
Otis/Blandford
  • Paving operations will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 21.0 to 24.0 from Monday night, July 29, through Wednesday night, July 31, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 1.
  • Paving operations will be conducted on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 21.0 to 23.0 on Thursday night, August 1, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 6:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2.
  • Bridge work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 22.5 from Monday night, July 29, through Thursday night, August 1, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2.
 
Stockbridge/West Stockbridge
  • Guardrail work will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 1.0 to 6.5 from Monday night, July 29, through Thursday night, August 1, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2.
  • Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 5.5 to 6.5 from Monday night, July 29, through Wednesday night, July 31, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 1.
  • Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 2.0 to 3.0 from Monday night, July 29, through Thursday night, August 1, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2.
 
Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
 
Drivers traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
