PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The city's Department of Public Services and Utilities (DPS/DPU) announced the launch of a new monthly newsletter "The Works."

 

As one way to increase transparency and improve communication by the department, this newsletter will provide regular updates on ongoing projects, insights into budgeting and funding highlights, features on members of staff, public meetings and events and other ways to stay up to date on department related activities.

 

"I'd like to extend my gratitude to every member of our community for the trust and patience you've shown. As we present this first issue, I invite you to read, reflect and respond. Your feedback will be the cornerstone of our continuous improvement", said Commissioner Ricardo Morales.
