DALTON, Mass. The cultural council excitedly prepped for the Dalton Day festivities during its meeting on Tuesday evening. 

 

They walked the grassy grounds of the Senior Center lot making the final touches on where to place the committee and organization pop-ups. 

 

The council attempted to predict the best set-up while juggling the uncertainty of the weather. 

 

The rain or shine event will take place this Saturday, July 15 to celebrate the town's culture and community.

 

The event runs from 1 until 5 p.m. on the front lawn of the Senior Center, 40 Field St. and is dedicated to the late Donald E. Harris Jr., a longtime member of the council and Dalton Day organizer.
