New President and CEO for Child Care of the Berkshires, Inc.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The Child Care of the Berkshires Board of Directors announced that Amy Hall has been selected to replace Anne Nemetz-Carlson to lead Child Care of the Berkshires into the future.
Hall is currently the Program Manager of CCB's Family Support Programs and has over 24 years of experience working at CCB, leading and growing the Northern Berkshire Family Center and ParentChild+ programs and managing several other family support programs.
"Amy's passion for the children and families of Berkshire County, her thoughtful and calm approach, and her vision for the future of CCB made her the clear and definitive choice to take over the helm at Child Care of the Berkshires,” Alison Bost, the Chair of CCB's Transition Committee said.
Hall has a Master's Degree in Social Work, a BA degree from MCLA and a certificate in Non-Profit Management. Prior to her work at CCB, she provided mental health services for children and families and worked for a college development and external relations department.
"All of these experiences and skills have prepared Hall as the ideal person to take the reins at CCB," stated Bost.
CCB's Transition Committee and other Board members have been working all summer to identify its next President and CEO. They used feedback provided by CCB employees in survey responses and from listening sessions to analyze potential candidates and determine that Ms. Hall was the best fit as the next leader.
"I am delighted to be given the opportunity to lead Child Care of the Berkshires moving forward," said Hall. "I look forward to working closely with the Board of Directors, the staff, the families we serve and our collaborating and funding partners to continue the essential work that the agency is doing, providing high quality child care and family support programming."
Anne Nemetz-Carlson, retiring President and CEO, said that she is "certain that Amy will continue to advocate for improved funding for child care services and support services for vulnerable families." Nemetz-Carlson added, "Under Amy's leadership, Child Care of the Berkshires is in an excellent position to continue to be sustainable and impactful in Berkshire county."
