CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. -- The 1X Lacrosse seventh- and eighth-grade travel team recently went 3-0 at the Shenendehowa Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament.
More than 85 players competed for the 1X program this fall.
"Our model is flexible, and just this past weekend we had players show up whose soccer or football season just ended," 1X director Jeff Stripp said. "We welcome those players with open arms as their fall season winds down."
Among the players from Berkshire County who competed at the Shenendehowa tournament are: Mount Greylock's Tate Kuster and Cam Taylor, Wahconah's Max Bolland and Sky Patti, Pittsfield's James Kastrinakis and Jack Ballinger, Hoosac Valley's Lucas Waterman and Lee's Jamie McDonnell. The team also included players from Deerfield, Hoosick Falls, N.Y., and Bennington, Manchester and Rutland in Vermont.
The seventh- and eighth-grade team travels to Glenville, N.Y., this weekend and finishes the fall season in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
