DALTON, Mass. -- Matt Lee tripled and homered, and the Pittsfield National League All-Stars used four home runs to earn an 11-6 win over Great Barrington on Thursday night in the the losers bracket final of the Don Gleason District 1 Little League Tournament for ages 10-12.

 

The Pittsfield Nationals set up a Friday 5:30 final against their rivals from the Pittsfield Americans at Chamberlain Park. If the Nationals win, they will force a winner-take-all final. If the Americans win Friday, they take the title in the double-elminination tournament.

 

Nick Guachione went 2-for-3 with a home run, and Adam Lazitz and Nate Murphy each homered for the Nationals. Nathan Bentz went 2-for-2 with a double.

 

For Great Barrington, Jayder Raifstanger went 3-for-4 and scored a run, and Luke Bleau was 2-for-3 with a homer. Nick Henderson doubled in the loss.
