Sunday's Steel Rail Races to Cause Minor Delays on Route 8The event includes a marathon, half marathon and 8K distance on the bike path starting and finishing in Pittsfield while covering the distance to the end of the trail in Adams and back. BHS 4th of July Road Race Under New DirectionThe BHS 4th of July Road Race began in 1985 with 250 runners taking to the street to run the out-and-back 5K course before the start of the annual Pittsfield Fourth of July Parade.  Jingle Bell Run/Walk for the Santa Toy Fund SaturdayParticipants are asked to join and festive holiday costumes are encouraged. There will be a raffle fundraiser in which all money raised will go directly to the Santa Toy Fund. |
