Voters approved all but one of the four articles on the warrant at the special town meeting that was held on Wednesday at Nessacus Regional Middle School.
Superintendent James Brosnan led the School Committee through the new HVAC shop building that the state Department of Education will inspect on Sept. 19.
The school received a $3.1 million state Skills Capital Grant to provide training HVAC. This will cover the construction of the building and the development of the program.
Currently there is no HVAC technician training program in the Berkshire County, and HVAC was identified by the Berkshire County Workforce blueprint as a critical workforce need.
