DALTON, Mass. -- Brady DiGrigoli carded an 83 on Tuesday at Wahconah Country Club to lead the Lenox golf team to a second-place finish at the Western Massachusetts Division 3 Championships.
The Millionaires finished 26 strokes behind sectional champion Monty Tech to earn a berth in next week's D3 State Championships.
Lee's Joey Abderhalden was the top local finisher in the 43-player field.
He finished at 6-over 77 to place second and secure a spot as an individual at states.
Abderhalden posted one birdie, on the par-4 third hole.
Monty Tech's Ryan Hebert took medalist honors with a 3-over 74.
DiGrigoli finished tied for ninth place at 12 over. His teammate, Hunter Shepardson, tied for ninth at 13-over 84.
Hoosac Valley's Zach Mongeon, playing as an individual at the sectional, finished at 19-over to tie for 15th place.
McCann Tech was led by senior John Stack, who carded a 20-over 91 to tie for 17th place.
