NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Arianna Walden scored 10 points in the first quarter and finished with a game-high 19 to lead the Mount Greylock girls basketball team to a 42-24 indpendent win over McCann Tech on Wednesday night.
Lauren Howard and Jenna Benzinger chipped in with seven and five, respectively, as the Mounties (3-3) snapped a three-game losing streak
Three different players scored five points apiece for the Hornets. Kelly Dobbert, Aimee Dowling and Danielle Felton tied for the team scoring lead.
McCann Tech (1-4) hosts Turners Falls on Monday.
Mount Greylock hosts Wahcoah on Wednesday.
