AMHERST, Mass. – Ashlyn Lesure scored a game-high 32 points Wednesday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team to an 85-48 win over Amherst-Pelham.

 

With the victory, Hoosac Valley officially qualified for the Division 5 State Tournament.

 

Lesure made four 3-pointers, including one in the first quarter, when she scored nine points to help the Hurricanes build a 31-8 lead out of the gate.

 

Emma Meczywor scored 21 points, and Taylor Garabedian added 12 in the win.

 

Hoosac Valley (10-3) goes to Monson on Monday.
