NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Hannah Boisvert scored 11 points, and Aiden Champney added 10 Monday to lead the McCann Tech girls basketball team to its first win of the season, a 29-16 win over Mount Everett.
“Good bounce back from Friday night’s tough loss and good way to get first W of the season – with defense,” McCann Tech coach Justin Kratz said. “The girls played very well tonight. We played hard and played together as a team. We’ve been getting better and better each night and finally broke through.
“Hannah Boisvert and Aiden Champney each had a double-double. Hannah had 16 boards and Aiden had 11. Hannah was a monster tonight all over both ends of the floor.”
Emily Stueuernagle scored 10 points to lead the Eagles.
Mount Everett (1-5) hosts Renaissance on Monday.
McCann Tech (1-5) goes to Ludlow on Jan. 18.
