LEE, Mass. -- Mia Puleri scored 19 points Tuesday to lead the Lee girls basketball team to a 42-32 win over Springfield Commerce.
Puleri sank a pair of 3-pointers and scored eight points in the second quarter, when the Wildcats outscored the visitors, 13-7, to take a 21-11 lead into half-time.
"We got off to a good start and let them make a run right before the half, but to their credit the girls responded with a good second half," Lee coach Rick Puleri said. "We were able to get it inside and get the lead back up and finished the game shooting well at the free throw line. Very happy for my kids especially the seniors."
Bella Lovato scored nine points, and Taylor Salice added five in the win.
Lee (3-16) finishes the season on Wednesday at Granby.
