AGAWAM, Mass. – Charlotte Coody scored 17 points Wednesday to lead the Mount Greylock girls basketball team to a 44-41 win over Agawam.
Coody scored six points, and Molly Sullivan had four of her 10 points in the third quarter, when the Mounties outscored their hosts 17-5 to erase a four-point deficit and take an eight-point lead into the last eight minutes.
Mount Greylock shot three for four from the foul line in the last minute to secure the three-point win.,
“We lost to Agawam on the road by three last year so it was a good come from behind win for us tonight,” Mount Greylock coach John Jacobbe said.
Agawam’s Grace Frazier scored 19 points to lead all scorers.
Mount Greylock (2-1) goes to Monson on Thursday.
