LEE, Mass. – Mia Puleri scored 20 points, and the Lee girls basketball team rallied in the fourth quarter to take a 36-28 win over McCann Tech.
The Wildcats trailed, 24-21, going into the final quarter but outscored the Hornets, 15-4, down the stretch.
“Great comeback tonight for us with such a young team,” Lee coach Rick Puleri said. “Taylor Salice made a big 3 and had six points in the fourth quarter and Mia Puleri sealed the game for us at the free throw line going 6-for-8 in the fourth.”
Kenzie Garrity scored all eight of her points in the first half to help keep the Wildcats in the game.
Macey Tatro scored 10 to lead McCann Tech, which got eight from Hannah Boisvert.
The Hornets (1-6) host Renaissance on Tuesday.
Lee (2-6) is at Southwick on Tuesday.
