CHESHIRE, Mass. – Rylynn Witek and Averie McGrath each scored 14 points Monday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team to a 66-2 win over Smith Academy in the Western Massachusetts Class D quarter-finals.

 

Smith Academy scored its points in the fourth quarter to avoid the shutout.

 

Ashlyn Lesure and Taylor Garabedian each scored 10 for the top-seeded Hurricanes (16-3), who host Turners Falls on Wednesday in the semi-finals.
