SOUTHWICK, Mass. – Emma Puleri scored 15 points, and the Lee girls basketball team Thursday won its sixth straight, a 55-37 victory over Southwick.
The Wildcats (11-3) took control of the game in the third quarter, when they stretched a 24-19 half-time lead to 41-24.
“We got a nice run the last 1:30 of the first half that gave us some momentum going into the locker room,” Lee coach Rick Puleri said. “Credit Southwick. They came out with great energy and played us tough in the first half. We were able to force some turnovers off our pressure in the second half and get some separation.”
Carina Brown and Caroline Maloney scored 10 points apiece in the win.
Lee continues a busy week on Saturday when it hosts McCann Tech.
