LEE, Mass. – Caroline Maloney scored 14 points, and the Lee girls basketball team held an opponent to a season low in a 57-17 win on Saturday.
Emma Puleri added 13, and Mia Puleri and Carina Brown scored seven points apiece in a balanced attack for the Wildcats.
Lee’s previous best day on defense came in a 37-21 road win at Ware in early January.
Saturday’s win was Lee’s fourth in a row and moved Lee within one win of clinching a spot int he state tournament.
The Wildcats (9-3) Monday host Easthampton, a three-point winner when the teams met in Easthampton on Jan. 25.
