HADLEY, Mass. – Gabby Dyjach scored 16 points Monday to lead the Hopkins Academy girls basketball team to a 43-36 win over Mount Greylock.
“We did not come out with the energy we needed to start the game and Hopkins played well,” Mount Greylock coach John Jacobbe said. “Down 10 at halftime we came out with the energy we needed to and cut it to five several times with the ball, but we could not get any closer.”
Charlotte Coody scored 15 points to lead the Mounties, which got six from Emma Newberry.
Mount Greylock (4-12) goes to the Springfield International Charter School on Wednesday.
