AGAWAM, Mass. -- Izzy Lalancette scored five of her team-high seven points in the fourth quarter to lead the Agawam girls basketball team to a 32-30 win over Mount Greylock.
The hosts outscored the Mounties, 12-8, in the final eight minutes to overcome a two-point deficit.
"We have lost three tough games thus far this year late in the game," Mount Greylock coach John Jacobbe said. "The good news is we are putting ourselves in position to win now we have to learn how to win these games down the stretch.
"Super proud of the effort disappointed with the result, but it is a long season and we will keep working to get this figured out in our favor."
Charlotte Coody scored 11 points for Mount Greylock, which got seven from Abby Scialabba and six from Emma Newberry.
The Mounties (1-3) go to Springfield International Charter School next Tuesday.
