SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Madison Ross and Emma Stevens scored 13 and 12, respectively, to lead the Mount Greylock girls basketball team to a 40-24 win over Mount Everett on Thursday.
The Mounties jumped on top early, taking a 15-0 lead after one quarter.
Delaney Babcock scored six points in the win, accounting for one of Mount Greylock’s six 3-pointers.
Maggy Sarnacki and Makenzie Ullrich each scored five to lead Mount Everett (1-2), which goes to Drury on Friday.
Mount Greylock (1-1) is at Drury on Monday.
