PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Add a third fabulous freshman to the list at Taconic High.
Ciany Conyers and Ahliya Phillips have been starting and turning heads all season for Taconic (15-4). On Monday night, classmate Faith Cross scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in a 71-31 win over Lee.
The Berkshire County North-South crossover got away from the Wildcats early as Conyers (17 points) scored seven in the first eight minutes to help Taconic take a 21-6 lead.
Taconic led, 44-12, at half-time and never looked back.
Johnahyah Curry finished with 13 points and passed out seven assists.
Lee got six points apiece from Lydia Simone, Kaden Kelly and Emma Puleri.
The Wildcats (6-13) are at Mount Everett on Tuesday night.
Taconic finishes the regular season on Wednesday at Greenfield.
