NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Madison Ross scored 11 points, and Brook Masse added 10 Thursday to lead the Mount Greylock girls basketball team to a 57-40 win over McCann Tech.
The Mounties outscored the Hornets, 19-3, in the third quarter to take control after leading by eight at half-time.
“Not a good night,” McCann Tech coach Kathy Budaj said. “We can't win games when we keep turning the ball over, and that's what we have done these last two game. We are struggling to make our lay-ups and foul shots.
“Hopefully we can turn things around.”
Izzy LaCasse scored a game-high 16, and Kaylee Tatro had nine points for the Hornets.
McCann Tech (6-3) looks break a two-game losing streak on Monday when it hosts Frontier.
