NORTHFIELD, Mass. -- Paige Loughman scored 15 points, and the Pioneer Valley girls basketball team edged Lee, 37-35, on Wednesday night.

 

The Wildcats fell into a 14-9 hole after the first quarter and trailed by seven at half-time before battling back to make it a one-possession game at the end.

 

Emma Puleri led Lee with 13 points. Carina Brown and Caroline Malone scored eight and seven, respectively.

 

Lee (2-2) hosts Monument Mountain on Dec. 27.
