NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Allie Gibeau scored eight of her 20 points in a decisive third quarter Tuesday as the McCann Tech girls basketball team defeated Pathfinder, 61-46.
McCann Tech was down, 26-22, at half-time but rallied to outscore its guests by a margin of 22-11, to start the second half.
“We spoke at half-time about the fact that we needed to come out strong and work one basket at a time,” McCann coach Kathy Budaj said.
Aimee Dowling scored 12, and Alanza Quinones added 11 for the Hornets (7-10), who won for the second time in three games.
“This was a nice win for the girls seeing how we lost [to Pathfinder] in overtime in our first meeting,” Budaj said.
McCann Tech hosts Ware on Thursday in its final home regular season game.
