Balanced Attack Lifts Lenox Girls in Opener

LENOX, Mass. -- The Lenox girls basketball team Friday night got off to a fast start, scoring the game’s first 21 points en route to a 61-32 win over Mohawk Trail.

 

Jade Alward led the way with 12 points, and Nicole Gamberoni scored 10 on a night when the Millionaires spread the wealth, finishing with seven players with at least six points.

 

Sophie Patella and Julie Pehlert each finished with eight points.

 

Lenox (1-0) hosts Hoosac Valley on Monday.
