Pittsfield Girls Fall at Northampton

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. -- The Northampton girls basketball team outscored Pittsfield by 15 points in the second quarter and held on for a 72-59 win on Friday night.

 

The Blue Devils went into the second quarter behind, 14-12, but went into half-time up, 37-24.

 

Lexi Garvey led Pittsfield with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Jordyn Lummus scored 12, and Natasha Shade had six assists.

 

The Generals (8-5) host Wahconah on Monday.
