Pittsfield Girls Win at Amsterdam, N.Y., Showcase

AMSTERDAM, N.Y. -- Julia Eline-Wright scored 17 points, and the Pittsfield girls basketball team outscored Saugerties, N.Y., 21-8, in the fourth quarter Thursday to earn a 53-44 win at the Amsterdam Holiday College Showcase.

 

Eline-Wright grabbed seven rebounds to go with her team-high scoring, and Jordyn Lummus had a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards.

 

Natasha Shade scored nine, and Lexi Garvey scored seven to go with eight rebounds for the Generals.

 

Pittsfield (3-2) goes back to Amsterdam on Friday to play Binghamton.
