Garvey's Double-Double Helps Lift Generals on Road

BENNINGTON, Vt. -- Alexis Garvey had a double double Wednesday to help the Pittsfield girls basketball team earn a 59-41 win over Mount Anthony Union.

 

Garvey scored 13 with 10 rebounds for the Generals, who evened their record at 1-1 to start the season.

 

Bella Aitken scored a team-high 16 points, and Jordyn Lummus ended with 11 points and six boards.

 

Taea Bramer and Toni Satrape scored nine and eight, respectively.

 

Pittsfield goes to Amsterdam, N.Y., for the Amsterdam Holiday Showcase on Wednesday and Thursday.
