Steinman Leads Pittsfield Girls Past Wahconah
PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Peyton Steinman scored 25 points Tuesday to lead the Pittsfield High girls basketball team to a 65-44 win over Wahconah.
Bella Aitken added 10, and Toni Satrape grabbed 12 rebounds for the Generals.
Pittsfield held a narrow, 27-25, lead at half-time but pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring Wahconah, 19-9.
Ashley Zink led Wahconah with 12 points.
Pittsfield (7-3) hosts Taconic on Friday night.
Wahconah (6-4) plays Athol on Saturday afternoon in the Coaches Vs. Cancer event at Hoosac Valley.
