Pittsfield Girls Top Taconic

PITSFIELD, Mass. -- Peyton Steinman scored 14 point, and Bella Aitken added 10 to lead the Pittsfield girls basketball team to a 50-27 win over Taconic on Monday.

 

The Generals (2-0) jumped out to a 19-2 lead after on quarter and took a 29-7 advantage into the locker room.

 

Britney Perkett scored nine, and Kamea Quetti had a team-high 10 rebounds for PHS.

 

All but two players for Pittsfield scored a least a point.

 

Pittsfield travels to Lee on Friday night.

 

Taconic (0-2) travels to Ludlow next Wednesday.
