Steinman Leads Pittsfield Girls to Season-Opening Win

BENNINGTON, Vt. -- Peyton Steinman scored 36 points to lead the Pittsfield girls basketball team to a 77-62, come-from-behind victory over Mount Anthony in Thursday's season opener.

 

Pittsfield traild, 46-44, going into the fourth quarter, but the Generals sccored 33 points in the last eight minutes to pull away.

 

Bella Aitken scored 14 points, and Allie Hunt scored 10 to go with 16 rebounds.

 

Pittsfield travels to face Taconic on Monday.
