Summers Leads Way as Pittsfield Picks Up 10th Win

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Kyana Summers scored 17 points Monday to lead the Pittsfield girls basketball team to a 61-47 win over Minnechaug.

 

Summers also led the Generals with five assists and grabbed six rebounds as  Pittsfield won its fifth straight and qualified for the Division 3 State Tournament.

 

Charlotte Goodnow scored 16 points, and Harolyn Castillo added 15 in the win.

 

Bre’Jai Ellerbee finished with 10 points and three assists.

 

Pittsfield (10-3) hosts Chicopee Comp on Thursday.
